Prior to returning to school to pursue an academic career in the field of Neuroscience & Psychology, I held several positions in the public and private sector as a graphic designer and later as a [self-instructed] web and interactive multimedia developer. These positions required the design and implementation of both print and online materials deployed to effectively communicate educational, professional, and commercial initiatives. During this time I first developed my love and appreciation for coding and effective data visualization.
